Indoor car shows and expos keep northern BangShifters from going completely insane during the icy clutches of winter. Recently, Joe Grippo hit the 2011 Motorsports Show held annually in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This show rules because it is full from wall to wall with race cars. Vintage, modern, dirt track, drag strip, they’re all on display and guest speakers like John Force were on hand to talk with the crowd.
The show has been going on for more than 25 years and organizers said that the crowd was bigger than it has been in years. Additionally, show vendors said that they had better outings than years past. Buying parts also helps to pass the winter.
