One of the things we’re doing a whole lot more of in 2014 than we ever have in the past is taking you behind the scenes of the day to day BangShift life with our Twitter and Instagram accounts. Lots of you follow us on Facebook, which rules the school. Those of you who are on Instagram and Twitter should look us up and follow us there, too. Our Twitter account is where we share links and drop knowledge that may not require a whole blog item or where we typically break news and then follow up with a blog item to fill it out and give you the details. Truth be told we hadn’t done much with our Twitter account until this year and we’re having fun talking to the world one 140-character post at a time.

Photo sharing site Instagram is a place where we truly goof off. There you’ll find us posting photos from behind the scenes of feature shoots, funny stuff we encounter on the road, and whatever else we run across that is photo worthy. Since Instagram is all about photos, there’s typically not links to stories or any of that stuff. Just a picture, a caption, and probably a laugh on your end. Not everything we see in our exhaustive travels warrants a blog story so stuff like that we jam on Instagram. Maybe it is a look at a project at a shop we’re visiting, a funny scene we see at an event, or just a random moment in time. If you are on Instagram follow us, especially because starting this coming week, our racing season starts and the real fun will begin. We’re pretty new on there so get in on the bottom floor.
