Richard Scrushy is the former CEO of healthcare provider HealthSouth. He was ordered by a judge to pay $2.8 billion in damages because of the role he had in massive amounts of fraud that involved the company. He’s living up to his history by being quite evasive in court.
We saw a story on AL.com that contains a section that reads like an old Abbot and Costello act. Scrushy was asked if he had sold a Chevelle to a former mayor. He answered yes and refused to state the name of the mayor, then offered to write it down, then told the questioner that he forgot the name.
Some other muscle cars are involved, too. Think we’re making this up? We’re not.
