Fun, Squared: Kill Some Down Time Building This Lego 1967 Ford Mustang GT Kit!

What in the world happened with building a car out of Legos? It used to be that you took one flat rectangle, added a couple of beams at each end, plopped on four tires mounted on square blocks, and went from there. Nowadays, you can build highly-detailed replicas of Porsches, DeLoreans, the Aston Martin DB5 that James Bond roamed around in, and what have you out of the bane of anyone who enjoys walking barefoot through a house and it’ll turn out looking pretty good. Whether you have a kid who is into Legos or you’re a kid at heart and can’t help yourself, Lego now has something that will occupy your time for a while…and give your crowds of Lego-people something to fear: a 1967 Mustang GT model.

Composed of 1,470 individual pieces, the 1967 Mustang GT kit comes with a fully detailed interior, engine bay, tires, customizable parts (including an adjustable rear axle, nitrous tanks, a chin spoiler, a ducktail spoiler out back, a supercharger and zoomie-style pipes) and even a trunk that opens up. You are stuck with dark blue and white stripes for a color combination, but maybe the details of the engine bay that include the battery, air filter and hoses will ease that pain if that’s a problem for you.

Liking the idea of a gearhead’s version of a puzzle to finish off the last of the winter months? It’s kit number 10265, and it’ll set you back about $150. You’ll also have to wait until March 1st, 2019 to place your order!

    What a pile of shit!

It looks like a three year old child’s attempt to cross Frankenstein’s monster with a Mustang….
