Good news! GM may have bled out like a billion dollars or so last quarter, but the company will go ahead with plans to build a Cadillac CTS-V sports wagon. This means that there will finally be a good old V8 powered wagon to pimp-slap the Audi and Volvo wagons.
It will be genuinely interesting to see how the sales of the CTS wagon are. The V-series cars will undoubtedly sell because they are low-production pieces that enthusiasts want, and frankly, one can only guess how long they will stay in production.
The wagon will sport nearly 560 hp and according to a short USA Today story, will get to 60 in under four seconds. We think that’s a misprint, because a three second 0-60 time would put it in insane super car range. Under five seconds is way more logical.
We need to weasel a test drive in one of these baddies when they roll out.
