MSD has come up with an awesome new app for iPhone users that places all of the company’s wiring diagrams and the Tech Guide book right in the palm of your hand. Stuck in the shop and stumped on how to wire your new ignition up? No sweat, just click on this app and you’ll be back to working in no time. 

Broken out into 25 sections, users simply select the section they need and inside it will be all of the instructions and wiring diagrams necessary to complete the job, diagnose an issue, or simply refresh your memory on what goes where. 

The second cool feature is a dealer listing that works by zip code, so if you are on, say Drag Week and you have an issue, you can plug in the zip code where you are at and a list of authorized MSD Ignition dealers will pop up. Talk about a potentially invaluable resource!

The app is 100% FREE as well, making this the biggest must have widget for owners of MSD stuff (and iPhones).

Now available free in the iTunes App Store! The MSD Ignition Wiring Diagrams and Tech Notes app offers an all new outlet for customer help – perfect for late night wiring thrashes. MSD took the Wiring Diagrams and Tech Guide book and broke it down into a simple app so that anyone can view it from their cell phone!

When the app opens users start with 25 different sections they can select. Each section offers sets of instructions and/or wiring diagrams that work together to make work on MSD parts a breeze. A directory of more than 150 wiring guides helps users out in a pinch. A favorites list makes it easy to narrow searches to only the items owned. No need to scroll through all of the options!

Best of all, the app has a dealer locator. When a user provides their zip code the phone will show a listing of the closest authorized MSD. Whether following a national race circuit on the road or just looking for a new speed shop in town, using this feature everyone can get the parts they need!

Be sure to download the free app for your Apple product and watch for updates that will expand the capabilities! The app currently works for iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. It will be available for Android phones soon.
