The Internet is a funny place. Seemingly out of nowhere, there are great stories to be found and read, even in the most unlikely of places. We stumbled upon this great story about Mickey Thompson on Investor’s Business Daily‘s website. Like we said, it’s a funny place.
In terms of a pocket biography, we’d say that this one is pretty good. It touches on some of the most major of Thompson’s seemingly endless list of accomplishments. Hell, the guy had more than 200 speed records in his own name at one point.
This story’s angle is mainly about the indoor off road racing series, which was making money by the truckload, and some of the other things he managed to do. Sleep does not seem to be one of them.
