Great Save Photos: Elllis Vial Does Some Unintentional Stunt Driving at VMP

We were cruising through the website of the wildest drag racing series in America, ADRL.us, the other day and came across an item on their blog we had to share with you. Ellis Vial, a racer in the ADRL’s full-house Pro Extreme class put his blown and nitrous injected (you read that right) 1968 Firebird up on two wheels Joie Chitwood style! This is a brand new car that was acting like it. Hell, we love the guy for having the beast set on kill right out of the gate! He dropped some awesome quotes about the wild ride as well.

Vial was making some test shots at Virginia Motorsports Park, trying to get his new race car ready for the ADRL Hardee’s Georgia Drags VI at SGMP this weekend. In case you thought you read the lead paragraph wrong, this car is both blown and nitrous injected. Now you see why we love the ADRL.

About those quotes, Vial told the ADRL’s Agent 660, “A lot of people gave me credit for doing a great driving job to save it, but I think it was just God took pity on me and set it back down.”

There’s a couple more gems from Ellis and a bunch more bad ass photos of the ride at ADRL.us. Click the link below to check it out.
