On behalf of Chad Reynolds, myself, and our families, BangShift.com would like to wish everyone a happy and safe Independence Day. This is a special day that really brings us back to the root of why we love cars, trucks, hot rods, and all other moving things that make noise. The reason is simple, freedom. This is a day to celebrate that and remember the nearly unending list of people who have made it possible to the USA to exist as a free country.

We’ll be wrenching on our junk between hot dogs and dips in the pool today and we hope you are with family and friends enjoying yourself too. Spending a little time with your stuff is a bonus on a day like this.

America is 243 years old today. Take some time to reflect on that as you enjoy today and maybe a couple of extra days off this week. These things certainly did not come along without the sacrifice of many both before us and currently in the service of our country. A heartfelt thanks goes out to all of those serving in the active military, veterans, and those men and women keeping us safe domestically in the fire and police service. Without your work, this day and the circumstances under which we celebrate it would be very different. Have fun, be safe, and remember those who gave all for us to enjoy this great day.
