Last week we ran a story called Threads of Infamy which highlighted some of the more famous automotive “fail” threads and we’ve had a fresh addition to the internet that will be included in the sequel to that story at some point. This is absolutely hilarious and we don’t think that it was a setup or hoax of any kind. This was the classic case of a guy asking an innocent question and then getting an answer that probably made him puke in his mouth a little and everyone else crack up. As we’re posting this, the thread only has two pages of responses currently but we expect that the grow as word of this scene spreads across the internet.
So to set the scene, we have a modified Honda owner who has discovered a loose part under his seat with the lettering, “Caution do not operate without cover in place”. Understandably, the guy is concerned about the ramifications of defying this direct order. So…what is it a cover for? A friggin’ blender, like the one you made those smoothies with this morning. Not making this up.
