It’s been a while since we’ve seen a good ol’ “revolutionary” engine story. This one from the North Central Illinois News Tribune goes into some length of detail about the engine that has been dreamed up by an engineer from Peru, Ilinois.
There is quick mention made of a two-cylinder prototype engine having been built but it’s a one-liner in the story, and as far as we can tell, the author never actually saw the engine he was writing about. You really have to read the story to understand the magical aspects of the powerplant that seems destined to save us from wasting oil. Needless to say, it sounds like a Rube Goldberg machine.
Don’t go looking for a picture show, there aren’t any.
