SEMA is getting into the car show business with the production of a show to be held at The Pasadena Convention Center (which is shockingly located in Pasadena, California) on August 1, 2009. The show is a charity event to help the Childhelp and Victory Junction organizations and is open to a wide variety of machinery.
Chip Foose will be the grand marshall of the event (really!). One thing that’s sure to crack up our East Coast readers is that this show is being held inside. We wonder if this is to avoid the blazing heat that August may bring to the area or to eliminate the .015% chance of rain on the date of the event. Either way, you can leave the sunscreen at home.
The show benefits a couple great causes and we can only imagine there will be killer stuff there. We’ll make Chad go. Anyone want to keep him company?
