In surprising news we received late Monday evening, B&M Automotive Group has acquired Flowmaster Exhaust as part of their portfolio of brands. While we had heard whispers and rumors about Flowmaster’s status in the last couple years, we did not know that the company’s sale was imminent. 

B&M Automotive Group also owns the Hurst brand name and the Hurst Driveline Conversions business unit as well. Flowmaster certainly has a strong name in the industry and their mufflers, along with the distinctive sound they produce are known all over the country and the world. There was a period of time that it seemed every five liter Mustang in the United States had a set of two chamber Flowmasters bolted to it. 

It will be interesting to see what happens with the company’s product offerings and lineup with the new ownership.
