Jeff Lutz Goes 6.909/215-MPH In His 1957 Chevy at NMCA Houston, Texas Event On Saturday

(Photo by Justin Oney) – Just a quick note of congratulations this Sunday to Jeff Lutz and his son Jeffrey on their titanic 6.90/215-mph lap during the NMCA Houston event this weekend. That was the first time their world famous 1957 Chevy dipped into the six second zone and it punched in there by a ton! This is the car that has tangled with Larry Larson’s 1966 Chevy Nova on Hot Rod Magazine Drag Week and has flirted with the 6s several times, running 7.002 during Drag Week 2012 at Thunder Road Raceway Park in Louisiana.

CONGRATS FROM BRIAN, CHAD, AND EVERYONE HERE AT BANGSHIFT.COM TO JEFF AND JEFFREY LUTZ FOR LAUNCHING THAT BIG SHOE BOX CHEVY INTO THE RARE AIR OF SIX SECOND STREET LEGAL CARS!
