Live Blog: We’re Working on the Crew of an ADRL Pro Mod This Weekend

In a decision he will probably regret for the rest of his life, NHRA and ADRL Pro Mod racer Peter Farber invited me along to work alongside his crew this weekend at the ADRL event in Bristol, Tennessee. For starters, I am 100% stoked at the chance to live the life of a crew guy for the weekend because it will give some amazing perspective into just how hard these men and women work at the race track to keep the car serviced and running properly between rounds.

As Peter just raced in Charlotte last weekend, his rig is waiting for us in Bristol. By the time you read this Peter and I will be on the way south of Massachusetts on an 800+ mile banzai road trip to Thunder Valley. Through the weekend, I will be live blogging the experience and keeping you all abreast as to what is going on with the team and the car as well as shooting video and generating content. We’ll see if I graduate from oil pan washer to something cooler.

I’ll be updating this item as we drive down to Tennessee because heaven knows we’ll certainly see some interesting things as we cross the Mason/Dixon line.

If you are going to be attending the race, please drop by the pits and say hello! I’ll be the guy with the huge head and the BangShift shirt on. Look for the huge head. Oh, and below is a photo of the car I’ll be hanging out with all weekend. This will be my first experience working on a Pro Mod, so I am super pumped for the opportunity.

Stay tuned….this is going to RULE!
