Mopars at the Strip has long been known as one of the coolest major Mopar shows in the country. It will now be known as one of the coolest muscle car shows in the country as they organizers have thrown the doors open to all comers this year and the event promises to be a really fun time. All entrants will be able to participate in the show portion of the weekend as well as have unlimited access to the Hotchkis Autocross, which will be running constantly from the beginning to the end of the event. Along with the autocross and show, there will be 16 classes for drag racing, along with specific pony car battle classes and a Mopars versus the world class for those of you that want to defend Ma Mopar’s honor on the 1320 at the famous “Strip” at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
If you don’t feel like driving your own cars around, over, or through the cones during the weekend, members of the Hotchkis H-Team will be there in their cars to give rides for the duration of the weekend. With drivers like Mary Pozzi on hand, you will literally have the ride of your life and you will have it in one of the coolest muscle cars on the planet, or several of them depending on how many times you ride and how many cars you dare to climb into.
We think that this is a cool development for the show, which has been going for more than a decade. It should greatly increase the size and scope of the event and introduce a whole new lot of people to a weekend of fun in the Las Vegas sun that haven’t experienced it before.

Phil Painter and his crew are first-rate. The party at the Cannery Hotel (nearby) is great and makes the weekend more than just a car show. It’ll be the only time you go to Vegas and don’t bother with the Strip. Also – Memphis Championship BBQ is nearby. Get the “Grand Champion Platter.”
Totally agree…… Always a good time, good people, and great racing.
