MPMC Parts Spotlight: Lunati Signature Series Connecting Rods

MPMC Parts Spotlight: Lunati Signature Series Connecting Rods

We are suckers for cool parts, which is why we always dig the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, but our favorite show has to be SEMA’s Motorsports Parts Manufacturers Council Conference that we are attending this week in Los Angeles. It’s a media and manufacturers only event that puts us right in front of all the companies you know and love for some real face time. We get to know more about the products they have introduced or are about to introduce, and they get to talk to us about what we have planned for the year. What we really like about it is our ability to get up close and personal with new products and ask the detailed questions we just can’t bother them with in Vegas.

When we visited Lunati and saw the new line of rockers, camshafts, and valvesprings they have available, we were impressed, but the thing that really caught our eye were the Signature Series I-Beam Connecting Rods they had on display. We fondled the 6″ small-block Chevrolet model while dreaming of getting to use a set in one of our projects. You can read Lunati’s speil along with all the part numbers and specs below, but the basics are precision machining, 4340 construction, shot peened, magnufluxed, and sonic tested bad assed rods with high quality bushings, 7/16 ARP 2000 Cap Screws, and enough strength to satisfy your big power Small Block and LS needs. Don’t worry, you Ford guys have options too, and they have other models available for Big Chevy guys. For more details look at the specs below the photo, or visit Lunatipower.com.
