Our pal Mike Bumbeck has his own corner of the web called Clunkbucket.com, a fun, offbeat, gearhead-centric site. Mike hit a homer with his recent mini-feature on the original Moon hot rod, the Lunar Roving Vehicle.

Pretty amazing what a bunch of smart people can come up with when taked to solve a problem and given a budget that allows their minds to run free. It would be amazing to build this thing now, but to think it was done long before CAD, just adds to the impressive nature of the feat that was creating this vehicle.
