The Bathurst 12 Hours is one of the neatest production car road races in the world. The Bathurst course itself is the stuff of legend and most of the world’s great racers have made laps on the track at one time or another. Race officials announced yesterday that several new body styles would be eligible to run the 2010 race.
The list includes:
2010 Camaro SS
Mustang GT
Audi S4 and S5
Nissan 370.
Pretty cool to see the Mustang and Camaro on the list. With luck they’d be wiping the floors up with the Audi people. The motorsport.com story that we saw on this subject mentions that BMWs 31 and 35 will be very well suited to racing and obviously the Subaru WRX will present a worth adversary or the H2.
