Aviaid Releases New LS Engine Lubrication Guide – The Stuff You Need To Know To Keep Your LS Alive

As widely used and popular as the GM LS-engine family is there are some things that can always been improved upon and oiling/lubrication is one of them. There’s a reason that the LS7 came with a dry sump system from the factory and that’s why anyone who is planning on running an LS engine in an extreme duty performance environment can benefit from some knowledge and some technology to keep their stuff happy and alive. That’s where the people at Aviaid come in and specifically their new LS Engine Lubrication Guide.

This is a free deal that can be downloaded from the Aviaid website (URL Below) and it’ll help you make the most informed decisions on how to best set the oiling system up for your engine. The team at Aviaid has been doing dry sumps longer than virtually anyone else in the after market and they have been doing them for all different kinds of series and applications. Simply put, they know what works, they know how it works, and now you can get a better handle on it too with this new guide. Read the release below and check it out.

NEW LS OILING SYSTEM GUIDE FROM AVIAID

For all of its attributes, the LS-series engine has some serious shortcomings in the lubrication department. Noted oil systems manufacturer Aviaid has developed a number of solutions to the problems at hand and they’re detailed in a newly published LS Oil Systems Guide. Aviaid’s offerings range from a single-stage external wet sump pump for street applications to multi-stage dry sump systems for competition.
Aviaid oil systems have been employed by championship-winning Corvette GT3 teams, and the company also offers complete packages for LS engines used in off-road, marine, drag racing and sports car competition—as well as high performance street use.

Most of the systems can be fitted with either the original Aviaid Series 1 pump, or the compact Series 2 design. They are available with up to six sections and a choice of seven section widths to facilitate providing the optimum scavenging and pressure/volume for any application. Aviaid also offers over a dozen different oil pans, which range from ultra low profile CNC-machined billet aluminum pans to fabricated steel models—as well as modified OEM pans.

The LS Oil System Guide can be downloaded at www.aviaid.com, or printed versions available upon request by e-mailing [email protected].
