Edelbrock’s New Entry Level E-Street Aluminum Heads

Edelbrock just posted a page on its site about the new, entry-level E-Street line of aluminum cylinder heads being offered for small-block Chevy and Ford applications. They sell for under $1,000 a set complete and are meant for applications under 400 hp. They make a big deal out of these being made in America, which we approve of. It must means that they are fealing some heat from all the overseas knockoffs.

E-Street™ cylinder heads are an all new line of Edelbrock heads
designed for entry-level street performance in modern street rods,
muscle cars and trucks. Manufactured in the USA, by
Edelbrock, these heads feature A356 aluminum castings that are heat
treated to T-6 spec for superior casting strength and quality. Their
modern combustion chamber designs improve the combustion process and
larger than stock intake and exhaust ports move more air through your
engine. These features improve an engine’s efficiency, resulting in
more horsepower and torque and improved mileage potential. Every
E-Street is assembled with manganese bronze valve guides, powder metal
interlocking valve seats, stainless steel one-piece valves with
hardened tips, 1.25″ diameter valve springs, 3/8″ screw-in studs and
guide plates. Additional qualities include hardened spring cups and
Heli-coil™ threaded inserts in the rocker stud bosses; these are the
details that most low-cost competitors leave out of their heads.
E-Street cylinder heads are ideal for entry level (300hp to 400hp)
street performance engines operating in the idle to 5,500 rpm range.
All E-Street cylinder heads are sold in pairs and Made in the USA.
