Hooker’s BlackHeart brand of headers and exhaust systems is taking the hot rodding world by storm with some seriously nice looking and high performing products. The latest in the BlackHeart lineup is the 2005-2009 Mustang GT stainless shorty headers for the Mustang GT. They fit 2005-2009 models and are fully tig welded stainless. The fit and finish on these is way too nice for the price, which is a testament to the folks in Bowling Green who are putting these together on the BlackHeart manufacturing line. Designed specifically for 4.6L Ford engines and made of mandrel-bent 18-gauge 304 stainless steel for maximum strength and durability, they feature 1-5/8” primary tubes and optimized tube geometry. True mitered merge collectors maximize exhaust velocity and scavenging while reducing unwanted turbulence, and 3/8” 304 stainless steel flanges ensure both durability and an optimum sealing surface. They’re 100-percent hand-welded and ready to bolt on with no modifications or fabrication required, allow you to retain your factory oxygen sensors and catalytic converters, and come complete with all the necessary fasteners for a fast, easy installation.
