Well now you can have the best of both as Painless Performance has announced their new Nostalgia Harness which is nearly all black but with a small colored stripe and printing on each wire to tell you where it goes and what it does.

Nostalgia Harness
In the early days of hot rodding, simplicity was a natural necessity. Painless Performance was founded on keeping things simple and effective so we’re excited to introduce our new Nostalgia Wiring Harness. For anyone planning a traditional or nostalgia project, this stripped down harness will fit their plan with great looks and simple installation.
The first thing you’ll notice about the Nostalgia Harness is the nearly all black wiring harness. On a traditional rod there may be exposed wiring and the black wires will blend into the background. (Don’t worry, there is still a narrow color stripe and printing to indicate the wires connection and function.)
Next is the pure simplicity of the Harness. We’re down to bare necessities with 14 circuits intended to handle the lighting, ignition, horn, wipers, gauges, choke and a fuel pump for any injection fans. The panels is also split to keep things simple with four keyed fuses on one side and four battery fuses on the other side. This keeps things simple and clean, just like a hot rod should be.
