This new “self tuning” efi setup from FAST seems like the ticket for a mild street motor and an owner who’s interested in ditching his carb but isn’t comfortable with tuning a system from scratch.
While this “brain in a box” system could never replace a highly skilled humanoid to dial the last iota of horsepower or efficiency out of an ultra-high-horsepower racing motor, it might do the trick for your street machine, hot rod, or cruiser. We have to imagine that you’ll see increased fuel economy with the more precise fuel metering offered by EFI.
