RideTech has introduced its latest new product and it is good news for all of you 5th generation Camaro owners out there who are looking for a bolt on suspension package that will take your capable factory car and increase its handling prowess significantly with the introduction of new front struts and coil over shocks in the rear. This is a system that the guys at RideTech have been working on for some time as we have seen their “skunkworks” car at events all over the country being driven in anger on road courses, autocrosses, and speed stops. Though all of that competition and the accumulated road miles the RideTech team tuned and tweaked this package to give the end user the best road manners and the best track performance that they could deliver.
The parts are 100% bolt on meaning that you don’t have to cut, mess with, or otherwise alter anything on the car. Some stuff will bolt into the space provided and fit existing holes but there is some “extra effort” occasionally required to get everything 100% squared away. This is not the case with the HQ system from RideTech as even the front struts use a mount that RideTech developed to provide mounting points for the ABS and brake lines so you don’t have to mess with modifying either.
