There seems to be a plethora of drag strips coming up for sale recently. We last told you about Abilene Drag Strip in Texas, and we’re back with another piece of high performance real estate. Yellowstone Drag Strip, located outside of Billings, Montana is on the market.
The track is listed for $1,150,000, which is close to Abilene’s asking price and right about where other strips we have seen come up for sale are priced at as well. Built in 2003, this is another modern track which carries an NHRA sanction and hosts Division 6 races each year.
The aerial photo of the track shows it to be well laid out, with a large swath of seven staging lanes, and a long 660ft concrete launch pad. It also appears to be situated on the lunar surface with complete nothingness surrounding it. That’s greatness for a track because pain in the ass neighbors who complain about noise are a buzz kill.
If you’ve been longing to move to the Billings, Montana area (and who hasn’t really?) and love the world of drag racing this is the deal for you. Your credit score better be decent though. Either that or your bank account better be industrial sized.
