While our live broadcast of the 2011 PRO Winter Warm-Up was cooking along, we were also shooting photos along the wall at Palm Beach International Raceway. Since virtually every car on the grounds is a contender for the 2011 NHRA Championship in their respective classes, we got some awesome shots of Top Fuelers and Nitro Funny Cars doing what they do best, belching smoke and fire.
The show has been spectacular thus far with dragsters running in the 3.70 range and floppers clawing themselves down into the 4.0 level. To this point there have been no crashes and only one really serious engine boomer, so the track has remained sticky and fast for the racers.
