The people at Painless Performance dropped some cool knowledge on us the other day and we wanted to share it with you. Those guys and girls are always coming up with interesting and fun ways to be involved in the biggest events the hobby has and this year they are kicking it up 10 notches with the neatest idea we have heard in some time. Painless Performance is hosting a drive in movie night at a brand spankin’ new drive in theater called the Coyote Drive-In of Ft. Worth, Texas. For a measly $8.00 you get to watch American Graffiti as well as a first run feature movie. American Graffiti will be shown first and then the first run feature second. How many of you Power Tour participants have dreamed about taking your hot rod to a drive-in but have never had the chance? Now you do, thanks to Painless Performance.

Power Tour Drive-In Night from Painless Performance!

   Painless Performance is excited to once again kick off the opening day of the Hot Rod Magazine Power Tour! Since the tour starts in our home state, we wanted to do something special for participants – so we’re inviting everyone to the drive-in movies!

Our friends at the brand new Coyote Drive-In of Ft. Worth will be showing the car-culture classic “American Graffiti” as the sun sets over Texas. This all new facility is a state-of-the-art drive-in theater that features picnic tables, a food court with beer and wine, and even a playground surrounded by three big screens. This will be a great way to relax with friends and wrap up the first day of Power Tour (and besides, it’s a short drive to Texarkana Sunday).

Parking spaces at the drive-in are limited so we recommend that you reserve your spot online at www.coyotedrive-in.com. (Go to ‘buy tickets’ then select the June 1 date, and click on Painless Performance Private.) Tickets are $8 per person and they will be good for a double feature with a first run movie to be shown after American Graffiti! The theater broadcasts the soundtrack through an FM radio frequency so be sure to have a radio or boom-box available.
