Photo of the Day: Wretched Excess in the Flesh

Well, we started today with an Econoline that had a small block Ford hanging out of the bed and we’ll end it with another small block Ford, this time spilling out of a Cub Cadet lawn tractor. Why in the hell would anyone build this thing, you ask? We ask why the hell is took so long for someone to do it. We have zero idea what the application of this tractor would be, nor do we give a rat’s ass.

The engine stand tractor is a 1981 Cub Cadet by International Harvester. The engine is a 351 punched .030 with Canfield heads, and Edelbrock Super Victor Intake, Weisco pistons, a Crower roller cam and lifters, and all kinds of other racy parts. The guy also claims that the engine is set up for a 300hp shot of nitrous. That would be used if you lived through the first two minutes of regular operation. Imagine the burnouts and donuts that could be spun on this tractor!

Yes, we’re thinking it too…this tractor looks like a Zinger from the 1970s.

Thanks to PHR’s Chris Campbell for the tip on this slice of mechanical perfection!
