Customs 101: Bello’s Kustoms 1936 Ford With A La Salle Grille – Part 6: Installing 1937 Zephyr Tail Lights In The 1936 Ford.

Here’s Part 6 of the La Salle grille swapped 1936 Ford, where it gets a set of Lincoln Zephyr tail lights, but if you missed Part 1-5, just use the link below to check it out too. This car is going to be something special, with all the right custom attitude, just like you’d expect from our friends at Bello’s.

This is one cool custom that the gang at Bellos Kustoms are putting together and we dig it. This 1936 Ford is getting a 1936 La Salle Grille, which if you aren’t familiar is actually Cadillac. So he’s taking the grille shell and making it fit like it should have come on the Ford. I mean you want people to realize something is custom, but it needs to look like it is supposed to be there as well. Bello is good at showing us just how to make modifications like this, and also at explaining how it needs to be to look right.

Michael Bello is one of my favorite car builders. His style is great, but that’s not all. He’s one of those guys who’s personality is awesome and who’s antics will make you laugh while watching him shape metal and build some awesome customs. He is a talented metal shaper, makes it all look pretty easy, and yet seems to have no ego about it. He builds the kind of SoCal customs that I can’t get enough of. It’s the one kind of car I’ve never built, but man do i want to. Does he inspire you too?
