FAIL! Iron Trap Bought A Ford Model A And Trailer At Auction And Tried To Tow Them Home

We’ve all been somewhere buying a car, truck, bike, or trailer and thought that we could get it all home without bringing in very much of our own gear. I say this because to me it is totally understandable that Matt might buy a Model A at auction, along with a trailer it will fit on, and try to then haul it all home with his own truck. I mean I realize that some folks would want to bring their own trailer, but depending on how big your trailer is, you might not be able to haul both things.

So I would probably end up being Matt, which means hauling all the stuff at once and seeing how it goes.

Video Description:

Last weekend Matt was on his way to a wedding and purchased a 1929 Ford Model A Coupe, and a home made trailer at auction. Being the adventurous person he is, Matt decided that we would be going to pickup the car without a trailer and towing it home with the trailer he purchased. The plan sounded good on paper, but things unraveled quickly. The trailer tires were junk and we had to source replacements, thankfully Tyrone Tire and Auto hooked us up with lightly used trailer tires. After getting the new tires onto the freshly greased trailer, Matt and Mike work to hand winch the car up onto the trailer. This is where things go very wrong, but we won’t give up the biggest failure of all!!
