Duvall style windshields are super sexy and sleek on the right roadster but you have to do them right to make them fit and not look like an afterthought. SoCal Speedshop sells a bronze unit that is designed to bolt on but that can also be sanded and fitted to shape so it fits perfectly. In the case of this cool 1931 Ford Model A Roadster that Karl at Make It Kustom is putting together, the cowl and the windshield both need some love.
The great thing is that Karl shows the entire process from start to finish on this one here and the difference between the first fit and the finished product is amazing. This is good stuff that will really help if you are going to install your own.
And yes I did say bronze. These are cast bronze and can be finished in whatever way you like. They can be plated with nickel or chrome, just polished, or even painted if you like. Regardless, the fitment is still going to require you to use this method here. Hell, even if yours somehow fits perfectly the first time, this video will help you see how to make sure it really does.
