With as many ramp trucks as Newbern has been involved in while working with Finnegan, it is kind of amazing that he hasn’t owned several himself by now. But nope, he’s been a hold out for the right ramp truck project and it looks like he’s found the one for him. It’s not pretty, but it is solid, and wait until you see what he’s got planned for the thing.
With a nice long bed on it, and no drivetrain, this thing is perfect for an engine swap. But I have a feeling there is going to be a lot more to this thing than a simple swap. Check it out and let us know what you think about this newest acquisition, the planned engine swap, and other details.

On this episode, we find a Ramp Truck on Marketplace and we go check it out. Turns out, it’s exactly what we been searching for. It’s a 1983 squarebody with a 19′ bed on it. It has no engine or transmission but none of that matters. I have a 24 valve cummins to go in this chassis and a C50 cab to replace the 83 cab.
