Newbern and I have been friends for a few years, but until seeing this video I had no idea that he had never owned a First Gen Camaro before. I know that everyone hasn’t owned a first gen Camaro, but I’ve had mine since I was 13 and grew up in a house that has always had at least one. In fact, now that I think about it I’ve spent 45 ish years of my life with at least one 1968 Camaro and one 1969 Camaro. Newbern on the other hand, has not. So it only makes sense that if he was going to get one then it should be an old race car that is rough. And by rough, I mean really rough. But you have to watch the video because it’s too cool as well.
The adventure of getting this cool old car hauler trailer out of the back 40 and then putting the Camaro together enough to get it out of a shed and onto the car hauler trailer is something special for sure. Newbern even gives the thing it’s first wash in decades.
