You’ll not be shocked to learn that we were comic book readers back in the day. Our primary character of choice was The Punisher. Why? He’s the ultimate example of the bad “good guy.” A rogue crime fighter who took the fight to the bad guys. Anyway, we found that an upcoming issue of the Punisher MAX series will feature Frank Castle kicking ass in muscle cars and hot rods.
The preview shots of the book we found on ComicsAlliance.com feature Castle mowing down bad guys and evil bikers in what looks to be a hybrid of a 1966 and 1967 Chevelle. The premise for the issue is great as well. A man who helped Castle during the Vietnam war runs afoul of a biker gang and the Punisher steps in to help his buddy.
We’ve not picked up an issue in a long time, like more than 10-15 years, but we’re going to hunt this one down, it looks like a must read!
