Are you aware that in 1991 John Lingenfelter took his Personal 1986 C4 Corvette Coupe to the 1991 Road & Track Shootout in Fort Stockton, Texas and won in all 3 categories on the 2½ Mile FIRESTONE Test Track John’s Corvette outperformed 18 of the World’s Fastest Cars in all 3 Categories:• 0 to 60 ………………………………………………………..………..3.4 sec
• ¼ Mile Speed …………………………………..11.8 sec @ 121.5 mph
• Top Speed…….. 204 mph
And that this was accomplished despite the fact that it’s total package cost was 10% of the cost of other competitors in the pack, which included an AWD Twin Turbo V-12 F-40 Ferrari, a Lamborghini Diablo and a Safir GT40 Mark V – to name a few of the cars participating!
