RideTech Introduces the new Tru-Turn System for Camaros and Novas!

Here comes RideTech again, bringing more new and innovative components to the market for muscle car owners who like to turn corners! The company has put the finishing touches on and released for sale their new Tru-Turn system for 1969-1969 Camaros and 1968-1974 Novas. The intention of the Tru-Turn system is to change the ugly factory suspension geometry of the first generation Camaro and second gen Nova. This is accomplished in a very thorough manner.

Instead of just throwing spindles or other individual products out there, RideTech developed the whole package. Starting on the outside with the spindles, moving inward with the steering arms, draglink bracket, and tie rods. Like we said, this is the whole enchilada!

Aside from fixing the geometry, the new components also allow up to a 10″ wheel to be run up front in these cars, which up until now was impossible with factory steering because of contact from the steering arm. RideTech’s new arm makes all those problems go bye, bye.

There are no frame modifications needed, but the inner wheelhousing does need to be massaged if you plan on running the full tilt 10″ wheel and 275 tire. You can do it quickly with a dead blow hammer or get your flat hammer and dolley to make the changes more subtly.

To learn more about the system and to get a lot more technical knowledge hit the link below. Lots of engineering and testing have gone into refining this package and if you are into bending asphalt in your Camaro or Nova, this is a must have deal!

It’s interesting they imply they have not tried the system with a stock control arm, as is says they won’t guarentee it’ll work with stock A-arms.

I do like bolt on stuff though since I’m a crappy fabricator.

    That should read third-gen Novas. (1st gen = ’62-65, 2nd gen = ’66-67, 3rd gen = ’68-74, and 4th gen = ’75-79 aka Disco Novas.)
