Roadside Find: 1931 Ford Model A Sedan Survivor

Roadside Find: 1931 Ford Model A Sedan Survivor

On a summer day trip to Maine with the kids, we were minding our business, walking down the sidewalk when the wonderful sound of a low compression flattie four filled our ears. We wheeled around quickly, just in time to see this simply bitchin’ 1931 Ford pull up the the curb–not restored, not polished, not altered from the day it rolled off of Henry Ford’s line in Detroit.

We think some cars are destined for enternal automotive existence. Seeing as though this one is equipped with a 1931 Maine license plate and shows the battle scars, rusty spots, and imperfections that any car living near the Maine coast would show, we think it is totally legit.
