Tony Stewart”s “Prelude to the Dream” Late Model dirt track race at his Eldora Speedway is always a hoot to watch. It pits the stars of Stock Car racing, Sprint Car racing, and NHRA drag racing against each other on the high banked dirt oval that is known as one of the most exciting races, must-see races of the year.
You have to pay $24.95 for the honor of seeing it as it is hosted by HBO Pay-Per-View, but we’d venture to say that it is worth every penny.
Being primarily drag geeks, we always pull for perennial NHRA competitor Ron Capps who has held his own, placing fourth last year. He’s back again this year and is more ready than ever to bang fenders, hang the tail out, and throw mud at the NASCAR guys all night long.
