After the fun that Henrik Fisker had with Aston Martin in court over the Thunderbolt concept, you would think that both parties, but especially Fisker, would want to keep far, far away from each other. Nope. Fisker, via his latest project, a sports car known as “Force 1”, has rankled the brass at Aston Martin once again, and this time Fisker has shot back in force. In December, Aston Martin learned of a preliminary sketch of the Force 1, and claimed that the car was a rip of the DB10, the bespoke Bond car that Aston Martin created for the movie Spectre. The company sent Fisker a letter semi-asking, semi-demanding that the Force 1 either be changed or not shown at the Detroit Auto Show. In response, Fisker filed a $100 million dollar civil extortion lawsuit in California Federal Court, and he’s come out saying, “Aston Martin is trying to intimidate me to prop up their own flailing company and to mask their financial and product deficiencies. I refuse to be intimidated and that is the reason for today’s filing.” Any bets on how ugly this one is going to get? Check out the original story on WorldCarFans.com and take your shots…is the little guy getting stomped on again or does A-M have ground to stand on?
Fister?
A car called Force One?
I shudder to think what sort of person would buy one of those – I hope Aston Martin take them for every cent to save our planet from such hideous things!
That thing looks like an A-M to me. Even the grille.
