Thanks to BigBlockRanger on our message boards, it’s been brought to our attention that News-JournalOnline.com is reporting that Scorpion Performance is negotiating to buy the remnants of Crane Cams, which recently shut down operations, and that a job fair is being held to interview former Crane employees. Scorpion, located in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, is reporting on its own site that there was a big sales boom after Crane closed the doors. The company manufactures affordable valvetrain parts made in America.
It will be interesting to see what the future holds.
