Would you buy or build your kid a half scale monster truck? While junior dragsters, quarter midgets, and small racing karts have a cute factor, this Baby Huey has a fright factor. As you can see by the grown man standing in front of the truck, it stands more than six feet tall.
The truck had a custom built chassis and small gas motor that may or may not have come from a motorcycle. The tires are big boys, as they should be on a monster truck. There was a promotional video showing the truck in action with a little guy at the helm.
There is a real risk of disaster if this thing flies out of control. Far more than said junior dragsters and karts. So here’s te question. Given the scratch and the availability, would you put your son or daughter into the seat of a half scale monster truck?
(You cannot answer this question YES because you’d simply steal it and drive it yourself. That’s cheating and exactly what we would do.)
