The reality is that someday all of us will step off this mortal coil when our number is called. No two ways around it. While Chad and I were cruising through the truck hall at SEMA 2012 on Friday we stopped in our tracks when we looked into the “Last Rides” booth and saw what we first thought were small hot rod, rat rod, and muscle car sculptures. They are sculptures, but the true function of these little machines are to act as urns for the ashes of you or your hot rod loving’ loved one once they’ve passed away. Sure it is a bit of a downer as far as topics go, but these pieces are sure a lot neater than a gold plated cup of some sort or box. We talked to the dudes in the booth and basically if you can dream it up they can make it. In our opinion, there would be no cooler way to remember a late gearhead than to have them hanging out in a small version of their favorite car. Great memories will abound! We knew about the hot rod painted caskets, but these urns were new on us! 100% BangShift approved!

Creepiest thing I saw there.
I have to agree.
I think their cool but I`d rather be packed into a drag chute and popped at the top end of bonneville .
