The Lingenfelter Performance Nationals, September 21-23, promises to be one hell of an action packed event. Held at the famed Summit Motorsports Park, in Norwalk, Ohio, this event will feature drag racing, autocross, speed stop challenge, and dyno challenge events along with a car show, tech seminars, and big cash prizes. Plus this is an Optima Batteries Ultimate Street Car Invitational Qualifier. BangShift’s own Brian Lohnes will be on the mic all weekend charming you with his witty commentary, but lucky for you there will be much better things to look at on track, and on the show grounds. If you haven’t been to Norwalk’s Summit Motorsports Park before, keep in mind it is home to not only great racing events, but also their famous 1-Pound of Ice Cream for $1. Yep, they sell almost 40,000 pounds of ice cream each year at only $1 per pound. So bring the kiddos out and enjoy!
If Ice Cream isn’t enough to get you there then we might consider pulling your BangShift card, but we’ll let it slide if you come on out to race.
For you Drag Racers out there, classes include Outlaw Drag Radial, Battle of the Brands, Super Car Shootout, Holley True Street, 8.5 through 14.0 index classes, and ET bracket racing. Included with your race or show car entry are two three day passes to the event.
For you Pro-touring folks there is a Ridetech Street Challenge Autocross and Speed Stop Challenge.
An All Access Race Entry is available that lets you do all the racing on every track and gets you into the cruise and show and shine areas as well.
