NoOneRidesForFree.com bills itself as “Boogie Vans and One Night Stands”. It is a blog that celebrates the free and wild culture culture of “vanning” in the 1970s. For decades that era has been derided and despised by BangShifters for wrecking magazines and being a generally bad trend. There seems to be a growing nostalgia surrounding the vanning culture and this blog encapsulates some of the wildest stuff of the era.
We got tipped off to this site by one of the legions of folks who saw the photo of Vangina and were cracked up by it. We’re sure not jumping on the next train to vannin’ town, but this site cracked us up. It is definitely worth a look back at one of the more bizarre eras in the history of automobilia.
