There are several ways to raise the ire of fellow racers at the drag strip. Oiling down the track is a pretty big party foul, crashing and causing a stoppage of racing while the carcass of your race car is dragged away sucks all around, and running over the Christmas Tree will quickly reduce the number of holiday cards you need to send out this year.
The racer in the short video posted below chose door number three to anger spectators and racers alike, when he lost the handle on his short wheelbase race car and ate the tree, front and center. We’re not sure if this dude’s throttle hung open, or if he failed at impersonating a Nitro Funny Car. Either way, it must have made for a long afternoon for the track crew!
