1964-1972 GM trucks have long been popular among hot rodders and truck enthusiasts but over the last couple of years, their popularity has gone nuts among the pro touring crowd as well. With more and more of these trucks being built with the intention of competing at road courses, auto-crosses, and open track days, American Powertrain observed the fact that there was a hole in the hobby for these enthusiasts.
To fill that gap, these guys developed the new ProFit kit for the trucks which is basically a box that contains everything you need to make it work from the transmission to the drive shaft, shifter, etc. The transmission you can opt for are either the basei TKO 5-speed box or an upgrade to a 6-speed swizzle stick is also available.
Why would you want to score all of this stuff as brand new parts that have been engineered by an industry leading company? The fact that you know all of the parts and pieces are going to fit the first time is why this is such a great value, along with the knowledge that the parts have a proven track record, have been tested to death, and the dogs

Yowch! While I don’t doubt they are worth every penny, that kit is more than I paid for my ’64 C10.
