Auto Meter is constantly working at bringing out new cool products for gearheads. The instrumentation business is pretty interesting in that they have to serve two “masters” if you will. Firstly, they have to build a product that is tough, accurate, and easy for the end user to install and operate. Secondly, they have to make that product look cool and maintain a look that will be “in” for the life of the owner’s car. Undoubtedly, Auto Meter is the king of both these departments in the instrumentation world today. Their most recent addition to an already huge product line is the GT Series of gauges. These are offered in digital, short sweet and full sweep electric, mechanical, and there are applications for in-dash speedometers and other kits as well. They are LED lit through the back and we’ve seen some working at night. They look marvelous and they have the accuracy and dependability that Auto Meter is known the world over for. We’ve got a full set of Auto Meter Sport Comps in Buford T Justice and we’ll be showing you how we installed them later this week. The look of these GTs is nice and modern. We can see them at home in a pro touring car, modern street machine, or even a muscle car that has been built with a modern touch like many are today.
