Breaking News: TCI And Ridetech Announce Exciting Deal BangShift Has First!

BangShift has learned that on Wednesday TCI and Ridetech will announce a deal that brings these two icons in the hot rod industry together like no other suspension companies in our industry. It will be announced that TCI will use Ridetech Shocks exclusively in their chassis packages starting now, which is a huge announcement for TCI, who started in 1974 and is the largest aftermarket chassis manufacturer in the U.S.

What we find most interesting about this announcement is the fact that both TCI and Ridetech are the the suspension business. TCI builds complete chassis, and suspension systems, while Ridetech builds suspension systems and shocks. The overlap would make most people think of them as competition, but their professional relationship has been a strong one for years as Ridetech has been TCI’s supplier for Air Ride Suspension systems as well. We are glad to see these two companies building upon that in such a strong way.

Look for Sal to be a guest on PowerShift in the coming weeks as we want to ask questions and get all the dirt!

Sal Solorzano, VP and General Manager at TCI, has been working with Ridetech for the past few months and we have been present during testing and racing sessions where Sal has been able to use Ridetech’s shocks on TCI vehicles and seen his satisfaction first hand.

Sal commented that “TCI has always led the Hotrod industry in offering the finest technology available. After careful evaluation we’ve selected the RideTech shock for our Muscle Car and Classic car,Classic truck chassis and suspension to ensure our customers have the best ride quality, handling performance, and reliability available today”.

RideTech President Bret Voelkel, BangShifter extraordinaire added: “We are honored to become the official shock supplier to TCI! We’ve long admired the quality of both their product and their customer service.  We look forward to helping their customers enjoy driving their hotrods!”

TCI has been a supplier of premium Hotrod chassis and suspension systems since 1974 and is currently the largest aftermarket chassis manufacturer in the country. They build chassis components for vehicles from 1928 thru 1981 and have a wide variety of products for street rods, muscle cars and classic trucks.

Ridetech has specialized in air suspension systems since 1996, and has now developed a complete line of  coilover shocks, struts, and oem replacement shocks in partnership with Fox Racing Shocks.
