Since Flowmaster dove into the performance air intake business with their Delta Force line of products, they have been dropping new applications and products left and right. The latest group of enthusiasts to have a Delta Force option at their disposal are owners of 2011-2016 GM trucks equipped with the company’s vaunted Duramax diesel V8. This bolt on application is capable of producing up to 5% more horsepower and torque over stock. Additionally it comes with a heavy duty eight layer filter that is more effective in filtering out bad stuff because of its additional two layers of media to do the job. The filters are also cleanable and reusable.

There’s no cutting or custom fabrication needed to make these kits work. They are provided with all the necessary hardware and they are designed to be installed by literally anyone. In fact, installing one of these kits is a fine foray into the world of hot rodding if you have never modified a vehicle before. Bolt this baby on and the dyno in the seat of you pants will report back with better throttle response, better acceleration, and if you can keep your foot out of it, likely better mileage as well.
